The Russian e-commerce alliance has sent letters to the Federal Antimonopoly Service and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, requesting a review of Ozon's changes to the rules for participating in marketing campaigns. Sellers have reported that starting October 15, some big promotion events removed quantity limits. Once products enter a promotion, you can’t limit how many discounted items are sold, and it’s also become harder to remove items from the promo list. For sellers using the platform’s warehouse and delivery system, entire stock batches could be sold at promo prices.
